ANZACs First Day on Gallipoli

A century on
One hundred years ago today my uncle John Wesley Cobb was wounded on Walker's Ridge, Gallipoli, receiving a gunshot wound to his thigh. John was evacuated to Cairo where he spent four months recuperating.

ANZAC nurses
I have been amazed by the bravery and dedication shown by ANZAC nurses during WW1 as I read ANZAC Girls by Peter Rees. What caring and hard working girls.
